Robyn’s take · Practical advice
Start with the eastern location
Aldergrove is on the Township’s eastern border and combines residential, rural and business uses. Check the uses around the actual property instead of assuming the whole community feels the same.
Do the commute at the right time
Drive to work and back when you would normally travel. Add school, sports and family visits to the picture. A route you can tolerate occasionally may feel different when repeated every week.
Visit the facilities you will use
The community centre is on Fraser Highway, with a local library and other resources identified by the Township. Verify schedules and access directly. Walk the route or drive it from the home you are considering.
Inspect the property’s trade-offs
Consider condition, servicing, outdoor maintenance and parking alongside the price. Ask what is different from your current home and whether that difference helps your life. Finish with a second visit before making assumptions.
