Robyn’s take · Practical advice
Start with the things buyers will notice
Walk through as if you have never seen the home. Look at sticking doors, damaged trim, burned-out bulbs and obvious unfinished work. Make a list before buying materials.
Separate repair from redesign
A functional repair and a taste-driven upgrade serve different purposes. Bring in qualified trades where necessary and keep permits, invoices and warranties. Be clear about the problem you are solving.
Make photography easier
Clean windows, clear surfaces and tidy the yard. Plan where movable items will go before photography day. Keep the property honestly represented, including permanent features and its surroundings.
Prioritize by cost and deadline
Choose the work that is practical before launch. Compare the expected benefit with the price and the delay. Review the final plan with Robyn before committing to a long list of projects.
